Zines are super queer! In this hands-on workshop, facilitator Shay Mirk will give a short talk about the history of queer zine-making and how LGBTQ folks have used zines for political activism, community building, and self-expression for decades. Then, each participant will make their own mini-zine that playfully explores gender, sexuality, or whatever they want to write about. No previous zine-making experience needed!
